I’m a person who needs validation. It’s sad, but true. I think it comes from basically being a gypsy as a child and always having to make new friends and try to fit in. Regardless, I am now 30 and have yet to shake this desire.

Tumblr…you’re not helping me out with this problem. Is it too much to ask that I be notified if someone reblogs or likes a post? Cause I’d like to know. It would make me feel special and like I’m not wasting my time digging through the digital attic that is my photobucket account, searching for clever photos or interesting art I have collected. I need some gratification. I need some reciprocation. I need some notification!

Of course there’s always that chance that I’m just doing it wrong and someone could point me in the right direction.

If only Hank could see what they’ve done to country music....
